It is a challenge for a technology coordinator to have multitasked skills and to fit all the requirements. One of the requirements the technology coordinator needs is visionary leadership, the technology coordinator whom with visionary leadership have a similar function with a bridge which needs to control the amounts of traffic crossing over it. Too many cars crossing at one time would cause a traffic jam and anything overweight would cause the bridge to collapse. In a nutshell, as technology coordinator should control the amount areas and issues on their job by his or her visionary leadership. Moreover, visionary leadership within integrated management system and strong communication, a technology coordinator can provide an atmosphere for students and staff to learn and succeed.
In addition, school budget could be another barrier to technology coordinator. The cost of technology, which emphasizes schools examine the match between the components of the plan, is high so that in some countries communities, schools cannot afford this technology or a technology coordinator. For instance, there are three different types of funding must be considered: the initial investment to install the technology, the annual operating costs of the technology, and the money to keep the system modern and up date. All of these need a huge amount of money to keep operating. Unfortunately, not all schools have enough financial support or funding to pay for the cost.
In your last paragraph you mentioned about the lack of funding. You see that all over the place. A few years when schools got a lump sum from the stimulus bill they bought smart boards. That’s great but now we need the funding to train other teachers how to use them and pay the operating costs.
